About the role

Steeline FNW, a leading provider of quality fencing, roofing and steel products, is seeking an experienced and organised Despatch Officer to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland. As a full-time Despatch Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our products to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinating the despatch of orders, including preparing documentation, and logistics
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels to ensure timely replenishment
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any delivery-related issues that may arise
  • Providing exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and addressing concerns
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks as required to support the overall operations of the business

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a despatch or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution industry
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in using business software, such as inventory management systems and Microsoft Office suite, NetSuite program an advantage
  • A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
