About The Role:

To provide expert scheduling services for projects in progress at the NCB at the Henderson facility, ensuring schedule integrity, visibility of critical path, and alignment with Defence reporting requirements. Additionally, to uplift client capability by mentoring and coaching junior schedulers within NCB, ensuring sustainable in-house scheduling expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for assigned projects.
  • Identify and manage critical paths, dependencies, and constraints.
  • Provide schedule risk analysis and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Generate regular schedule reports, including variance analysis, progress updates, and forecast completion.
  • Present clear scheduling insights to NCB leadership and stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and structured mentoring to NCB junior schedulers
  • Review and provide feedback on junior scheduler outputs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Defence scheduling standards.
  • Develop guidance materials, tools, and templates to enable consistent scheduling practice within NCB.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure schedule alignment with project objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops to improve schedule accuracy and stakeholder understanding of scheduling impacts.

About You:

  • Updated and validated Integrated Master Schedules for assigned projects.
  • Monthly schedule performance reports and forecasts.
  • Mentoring plan tailored to NCB junior schedulers, with progress updates.
  • Final handover package including improved scheduling tools, templates, and documented lessons learned.
