About the Role

Based in South Guildford, Midland Brick is seeking a full time permanent Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join our team. This position is a key member of the finance team, responsible for managing and leading a team of Accounts Receivable clerks, cashiers and being responsible for the maintenance of customer accounts.

Your role will include:
  • Leading the accounts Receivable function of the company
  • Ensuring all month end functions are complete
  • Assisting in all month end reporting
  • Manage AR Team to ensure all queries are resolved and communicated in a timely fashion
  • Perform rebate reconciliations
  • Drive process improvements and efficiency into the AR function, ensuring common processes are applied to all agencies and leading practices are adopted through staff training and system enhancements
  • Management of light fleet vehicles
  • Tracking of leases of Heavy vehicles
  • Liaising with HO on all Leasing arrangements and changes
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Proficient MS Office skills with Intermediate to advanced Excel skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, ability to communicate at all organisational levels
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy; and
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships within a team environment.
