About the Role:
Join the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as an Advanced Nurse Unit Manager within our highly skilled Emergency Department and Emergency Extended Care Unit.
In this leadership position, you will use your clinical expertise to manage and coordinate nursing and multidisciplinary team activities, ensuring continuity and quality of care. You will be accountable for nursing practices and multidisciplinary outcomes, addressing any gaps between practice and policy and fostering a positive team culture focused on excellent patient/client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- provide strategic leadership and operational management
- lead, manage and oversee nursing care and health service delivery
- coordinate multidisciplinary team activities to optimise patient care
- drive quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation
- manage resource allocation, staffing and budget oversight
- mentor and develop nursing staff while fostering professional growth
At least 3 years experience as a registered nurse is required.
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
