What you need to know...

About the role

We have a vacancy in our Civil Services Section for people interested in working as a Traffic Controller with our Shared Services team. Council delivers a large amount of infrastructural construction and maintenance work every year.

We are looking for someone who likes to work in a team environment, can deliver professional customer interactions with the community and has an eye for detail to ensure the safety of your teammates and the community.

This position requires some physical requirements, such as prolonged standing, working in difficult terrain, driving, and manual handling. Have a read of the position description, and if you are interested, we welcome your application.

Other important information

This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.

A probation period applies to this position.

Council applies the definition of Aboriginality as defined in the NSW Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983. The Act requires a person to be of Aboriginal decent, identify as an Aboriginal person and be accepted by the Aboriginal community in which he/she lives.
