We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Mathematics Lecturer to lead classes of up to 50+ students. This is not a small tutoring job - it's a role for someone who can command a room, deliver structured, high-impact lessons, and inspire students to push beyond their limits.

You will be responsible for teaching, curriculum delivery, and ensuring student outcomes, while working closely with our academic and media teams to create a world-class learning experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, lecture-style maths classes to groups of 30–50+ high school students (Years 9–12).
  • Adapt teaching methods to cater to mixed-ability classrooms while maintaining high standards.
  • Prepare and deliver lessons aligned with Al Jabr's structured curriculum.
  • Track and report on student performance, identifying those at risk and collaborating with the team for interventions.
  • Work with academic staff to refine curriculum and teaching materials.
  • Serve as a role model and mentor for younger tutors and assistant teachers.
  • Represent us as a "face" of the classroom experience - confident, professional, and inspiring.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven teaching experience with large classrooms (e.g., high school teacher, university tutor/lecturer, or similar).
  • Strong mathematics expertise
  • Excellent communication and stage presence - able to hold attention in a large class.
  • Commitment to educational excellence and willingness to go beyond just teaching content.
  • Reliability, professionalism, and consistency in delivery.

Nice to Have
  • Prior experience preparing students for HSC/ATAR mathematics exams.
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior tutors/teachers.
  • Comfort with technology (Canvas, Zoom, HubSpot, etc.).
