The Opportunity

As the Senior Centre Director, you'll play a pivotal role in leading a committed team, shaping the future of young minds, and ensuring the centre continues to provide a high-quality early learning experience. You'll oversee daily operations, support your team, and work closely with families and the wider community — all while aligning the service with the highest standards of early childhood education and care.

This role also offers genuine room to progress into an Area Manager position, making it an incredible career step for a Director who wants to continue growing in their leadership journey.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead & inspire: Build a positive, collaborative culture with your team.
  • Drive educational excellence: Oversee curriculum planning and delivery to create engaging, developmentally appropriate programs.
  • Partner with families & community: Foster strong, open relationships with parents and engage with the local community.
  • Stay compliant: Ensure all regulations, licensing, and safety standards are met.
  • Grow your team: Mentor and support educators with training and professional development opportunities.

About You

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Centre Director in early childhood.
  • A Diploma or a Bachelor/Master's in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to create a positive, inclusive workplace.
  • Solid knowledge of child development, compliance requirements, and the EYLF/NQF.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
