The Role:

We are seeking a Yard Supervisor with scaffold experience to join our Wangara team, this is a full-time permanent position working in our Wangara scaffold yard, commencing as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily yard operations (receiving, inspecting, storing, and dispatching equipment)
  • Lead yard team to ensure safe and efficient gear handling
  • Keep inventory accurate with regular checks
  • Make sure all equipment is clean, safe, and ready to use
  • Oversee maintenance of tools, vehicles, and machinery
  • Enforce safety rules and procedures
  • Coordinate with other teams to meet delivery schedules
  • Keep the yard clean, organized, and well-presented
  • Report and arrange repairs for damaged or missing item
  • Train and support yard staff

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • A forklift High Risk work license and demonstrated experience safely operating a forklift in a busy environment
  • Scaffolding and/or Warehousing experience
  • A current driver's licence (manual) (HR Desirable)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate with peers, management, customers & suppliers
  • A reliable, hardworking and punctual approach to work
  • A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
