What you'll do:
  • Being the 'Champion' for a 'safety-first' culture by partnering with site leaders to drive WHS initiatives
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior management on WHS risks and opportunities
  • Leading the development of a WHS strategy aligned with operational needs
  • Building leadership capability through education on WHS obligations and risk awareness
  • Maintaining the WHS Management System to ensure legislative compliance
  • Monitoring compliance with WHS policies and providing guidance for improvement where needed
  • Conducting internal audits, site visits, and reviews to identify risk and drive continual improvement
  • Developing, updating, and implementing WHS documentation including risk assessments, procedures, and training materials
What you bring:
  • Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar senior WHS role across multi-site operations
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, standards (e.g., ISO 45001), and practical implementation in dynamic environments
  • Proven experience partnering with business leaders to influence safety culture and compliance
  • Strong experience conducting audits, investigations, and risk assessments
