Italia Lane is seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team in a full-time role. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook pizzas to established recipes and standards
  • Hand-stretch high-hydration dough to perfection
  • Independently manage the pizza section with consistency and care
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your station
  • Collaborate with the broader kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Showcase your own culinary flair with opportunities to contribute ideas and have input into the menu

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pizza Chef, including dough handling and stretching
  • Passion for Italian cuisine and commitment to traditional methods and flavours
  • High performance under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Keen attention to detail and pride in presentation and quality
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Australian work rights preferred – however, visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate
  • Availability to work both day and evening shifts as required for this full-time position
