Our underground services continue to grow, and we have a great opportunity for a Senior Mining Engineer (Underground) to join the team to help us deliver step-change projects and various technical services with our clients. Join our consultancy with a team of 15 experienced underground engineers with expertise across all underground mining fields. The Role:

The role is ideal for experienced mining engineers with over 10 years of experience that take pride in delivering high-quality technical work and seeing the impact of their effort. Candidates that have demonstrated experience across all mine engineering functions will be highly regarded, including;

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Senior Mining Engineer in a team leadership capacity
  • Project management experience
  • Business improvement experience

Skillset

  • Long and mid term planning (budgeting/forecasting/13wk/3MS)
  • Mine planning and infrastructure
  • Underground production/D&B engineering
  • Ventilation & Backfill

  • Supporting our client's new start-up operations with operations readiness
  • Operations performance diagnostic and benchmarking with our client's existing operations
  • Long-term and mid-term planning, proof of concepts and trade-off's
  • Underground Scoping Studies and PFS's

Qualifications & Technical Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of underground hardrock mining experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor or Masters) in Mining Engineering required
