Based in Brisbane's Bayside | Early Finish Fridays | Home Every Night

Modern Transport Engineers Australia (MTE) is looking for a reliable, hardworking Yardsman to join our busy team. This role is essential to keeping our yard and workshop areas safe, tidy, and well-organised for the team that services and fits out new and used heavy transport trailers.


About the Role:

You'll play a hands-on role in maintaining a clean, functional, and efficient yard and workshop area, including:

  • Sweeping, tidying, and general yard maintenance
  • Organising parts, trailers, and work zones
  • Assisting around the workshop floor where our technicians carry out trailer repairs and fitups
  • Moving vehicles and trailers as required (if licensed)

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
  • Someone who takes pride in keeping things clean and organised
  • Ability to work safely and independently
  • Ideally holds a truck license and forklift ticket
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills

What You'll Enjoy:

  • 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, early finish every Friday
