Duties & Responsibilities may Include but not limited to:

  • Inspect agricultural produce to identify quality issues and provide advice to producers.
  • Develop, implement, audit, and monitor quality procedures at farms and food handling facilities to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Test samples for quality, size, and purity, ensuring hygiene requirements are met in storage, processing, packing, and transport.
  • Advise on economic aspects of disease eradication and communicate health implications to producers and the public.
  • Identify pests and diseases, and advise on regulations for grading, packing, and loading products.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
