We are looking for trade-qualified Field Service Technician to join our team in Devonport, TAS. Those with experience working on light vehicles or trucks are encouraged to apply – full training on equipment is provided.

About the role

As a Field Service Mechanic, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality service to our clients by carrying out planned maintenance (PMP), inspections, repairs, overhauls, modifications, and new equipment builds, while regularly travelling to customer sites to troubleshoot mechanical issues and keep their machines running at peak performance.

You'll have the opportunity to work on world-class brands such as Konecranes SMV, with exposure to Cat Lift Trucks and Haulotte when required.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Trade qualification as an Automotive, Mobile Plant Mechanic or HD Mechanic
  • Experience working with heavy diesel/large scale equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic experience
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Electrical and hydraulic experience highly regarded
