College Principal (Primary On-campus and Distance Education)

Our Principal will be responsible for ensuring the good order of the school property, ensuring security and safety of the college at all times, meeting workplace health and safety supervisions for staff, including new psychosocial requirements, managing the school budget, including making financial decisions and ensuring that resources are allocated effectively. As Principal, you will be expected to maintain strong relationships with the school community, including with parents, students, local businesses and organisations. This is a hands on role that requires you to both enjoy and respect people of all walks of life.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success as an educational leader, with experience in curriculum development, staff management, and budget management. They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.

The key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing a team of teachers and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality Distance and On Campus education to students.
• Teaching some classes on campus, online classes and distance education as required.
• Communicating with parents, guardians, and community members to foster an inclusive, positive relationship with the school.
• Providing support and guidance to teachers in the development and implementation of curriculum and lesson plans and forming efficient assessment strategies.
• Managing the school budget and resources to ensure the effective operation of the school.
• Evaluating and assessing the performance of teachers and staff to ensure they are meeting the needs of students.
• Implementing policies and procedures in alignment with Federal and State legislation.
• Providing regular reports and answering to the governing body of the school.
