Role Description
We are seeking a highly experienced
Corporate Finance Advisor
to join our team and lead capital-raising and corporate advisory activities across ASX-listed and pre-listing companies, particularly within the
sub-$250 million market capitalisation segment
.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in
structuring and executing equity capital market (ECM) transactions
, including placements, IPOs, RTOs, and secondary raisings. You will be responsible for identifying and approaching high-potential corporates, building strong investor relationships, and delivering successful capital raises with measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and execute capital-raising transactions for ASX-listed and emerging companies (typically under $250m market cap).
- Develop and manage relationships with corporate clients, institutional investors, family offices, and sophisticated investors.
- Structure and manage ECM deals including IPOs, placements, rights issues, and M&A advisory.
- Prepare investor materials, pitch decks, valuation models, and financial analyses.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on market positioning, investor relations, and transaction readiness.
- Negotiate deal terms and oversee transaction documentation in coordination with legal, accounting, and regulatory advisers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ASX regulations, market trends, and fundraising opportunities.
Key Requirements
- Minimum
5+ years' experience
in corporate finance, investment banking, or capital markets advisory. - Proven track record
in raising capital for ASX-listed companies and executing ECM transactions. - Strong network of
institutional and private investors
across Australia. - Deep understanding of ASX listing requirements and mid-market corporate landscape.
- Exceptional relationship management, communication, and deal execution skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Law, or related field (postgraduate qualifications desirable).
- Relevant Australian financial services accreditation (RG146 / AFSL Authorised Representative preferred).
