Bar Duty Manager and Bar Staff

The JSA requires:

  • An experienced and professional Duty Manager to assist the management team in the day-to-day operations of the venue.
  • Professional Bar Staff with a can-do attitude to prepare alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and ensure bar/licensed areas remain presentable.

The successful applicants must have excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate with patrons of all ages.

The Joondalup Sports Association (Iluka) has been a fixture of the community for over 20 years.  We have a strong membership base through our Bowls, Cricket and Soccer teams, with new social members joining weekly.


DUTY MANAGER - MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supervising and training bar staff.

· Ensuring customers are served in a professional and timely manner.

· Checking/scanning membership cards to ensure correct pricing is offered.

· Restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies.

· Cleaning bar areas, glasses and equipment.

· Practicing proper workplace health and safety procedures.

· Ensuring limit of licensed area is respected by members/customers.

· Performing start of shift /end of shift tasks including till balancing.

· Other duties as requested by Management.

· Ability to work Friday to Sunday and weekdays as required.

Must have:

Current Approved Manager Card (Duty Managers)

Current RSA (Bar Staff)

Police Clearance

Ability to work Friday to Sunday and weekdays as required

Desire to work closely with the bar manager, bar staff, volunteers and committee members
