Workday Senior Consultant

Are you a Workday technologist who is passionate about developing apps on the Workday Extend platform to solve real-world business problems at-scale?  If you are, we'd love to get to know you. 

You are passionate about contemporary engineering methods and tools and are excited by the idea of implementing these in the context of Workday. 

With a team of Engineers / Consultants, you will work across the end-to-end software lifecycle.  On one day you could find yourself participating in a high-level requirements shaping conversation with a client.   On another, you could find yourself providing deep technical guidance to your team to efficiently develop Workday Extend apps. 

Minimum requirements 

• Active Workday Extend and Integration certifications. 
• A good understanding of Workday core functional concepts. 
• At least 5 years' experience in the Workday ecosystem. 
• At least 2 years' developing solutions on the Extend platform. 
• Experience leading a team to deliver technical solutions to solve business problems. 
• A deep understanding of Workday's communication frameworks: WQL, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, XSLT and XML. 
• Experience working within an agile environment and using agile tools (e.g. Jira). 
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Git). 
• Experience working with API testing tools such as Postman/SOAP UI. 

Desirable requirements

• Experience working with AWS technologies, including Lambda. 
• Experience working with automated test frameworks. 
• Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript.
