About Us

Defab Weavers is a leading manufacturer of high-quality fabrics, proudly operating in Melbourne's north. We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Despatch & Warehouse Operator to join our team and help ensure our fabric rolls are accurately inspected, prepared, and delivered to customers on time.


Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure finished fabric rolls to ensure quality standards
  • Wrap canvas rolls in protective film
  • Accurately label fabric rolls for stock control and customer reference
  • Prepare fabric for despatch using shrink-wrap and strapping equipment
  • Organise fabric rolls by batch, order, or location
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
  • Place fabric rolls into warehouse racking and maintain tidy storage areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across inspection and despatch zones

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Current forklift licence
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling
  • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious

Preferred:

  • Experience in warehouse, despatch, or manufacturing
  • Familiarity with fabric handling or inspection
