- Day Shift 8HR Production line worker - 7:00am - 3:06pm (Monday - Friday)
- Afternoon Shift 8HR Production line worker - 3:00pm - 11:06pm (Monday - Friday)
- Night Shift 8HR Production line worker - 11:00pm - 7:06am (Sunday-Thursday)
- Night Shift 4HR Production relief line worker - 2:00am - 6:00am (Sunday-Thursday)
True Foods is on the search for Casual Production Line Workers to support us to manufacture our well-known Australian made pantry products - Tortilla Wraps, Flatbread, Pizza Bases, Naan & Roti Breads, to name a few.
About the role-
Production Line Workers:
Reporting to the Production Manager you will work to ensure that our products are produced and packaged in line with the production schedule and its timeframes. Your key responsibilities include:
- Accurate quality checking of all product and packaging are in line with our policies, procedures and guidelines
- Basic machine operation
- Prompt escalation of quality issues relating to product or materials
- General housekeeping, cleaning and sanitation of the work area
- Appropriate pallet stacking
- Assist other teams members with their general duties as required
- Maintain a safe work area at all times ensuring compliance with our OH&S guidelines
- Apply first-time quality (FTQ) principles to ensure you follow our FTQ requirements at all times
This position is hands-on, physically demanding and fast-paced. You will be reliable, coachable, flexible, and an awesome team player who comes with a can-do attitude
Your energetic and friendly approach allows you to communicate clearly with your team, and you're not afraid to tackle issues and obstacles that are unknown to you because you're willing to learn and take on new challenges.
Cleaning and Sanitation:
- Cleaning and sanitising production equipment, facilities, and work areas according to a cleaning program
- Following safety protocols and using cleaning supplies and equipment properly
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and food safety standards
- Collaborating with team members to uphold a high standard of cleanliness and safety throughout site
More about you
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG)
- A strong focus on safety and quality is an absolute must
- Understanding and practice of food hygiene and food handling concepts
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks in a fast-paced process line environment
- You demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Sound numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong customer focus and a proactive and concise communicator
- Ability to develop and maintain supportive working relationships
- Availability to work Mon - Fri is advantageous and will be highly regarded
