Make an impact at Serco

As an HVAC Technician at Clarence Correctional Centre, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient facility. Reporting to the Building Supervisor, you'll be responsible for responding to maintenance needs, repairing plant and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and legislative requirements. You'll work as part of a dedicated Facilities Management team, making a real difference in a dynamic and secure environment.

As an HVAC Technician, you'll make a positive impact by:

  • Responding to and rectifying maintenance issues efficiently
  • Carrying out repairs on HVAC mechanical services and plant equipment
  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance as per the Asset Management Plan
  • Assisting with minor projects and system enhancements
  • Ensuring compliance with National and State legislation
  • Supporting team members with diagnostics, technical advice, and training
