Built in the 1920s by the Grace Brothers as a showpiece of their successful retail business, The Grace Hotel has beautifully restored its former glory to become one of Sydney's most famous historical landmarks. It is a fine example of Neo-Gothic architecture, with contrasting Art Deco interiors that offer a unique blend of ancient charm and modern comfort.  Located in the heart of Sydney, this heritage-listed 387 room hotel offers the service and luxury of a city hotel to meet the needs of today's discerning guests.

The Role

We are seeking a Full Time Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping Team. This is your opportunity to foster a career in hospitality within reputable hotel and be part of a hardworking and innovative team.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in hospitality or similar background
  • Ability to work professionally under pressure
  • Passion for providing every guest with a positive experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively using appropriate language and communication skills in the areas of guest contact, employee relations, and complaint handling
  • Ability to work a rotating 7-day roster
  • Be a team player
  • Consistent pride in their grooming and presentation
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS is desirable
