What You'll Be Doing
  • Providing legal advice, casework, and representation in areas such as family law, tenancy, traffic matters, and family violence.
  • Acting as Duty Lawyer in Broken Hill and surrounding circuits.
  • Outreach work - travel (with full team support) to towns like Wilcannia, Menindee, Ivanhoe, and White Cliffs, building relationships where access to justice matters most.
  • Contributing to community legal education, advocacy, and law reform initiatives.
  • Collaborating closely with social services, health workers, and community partners to create holistic outcomes.

About You
  • Eligible for (or currently hold) a NSW Practising Certificate.
  • Around 1-2+ years post-admission experience (Generalist experience ideal).
  • Confident in court - especially in family law, DV, and advocacy work.
  • Resilient, independent, and motivated by purpose-driven work.
  • Comfortable managing your own caseload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hold a driver's licence and willing to travel for outreach.
