Education Assistants

We are pleased to announce exciting opportunities for Christian Education Assistants and Special Needs Education Assistants to join our growing team in 2026. Positions are available for part-time or full-time roles, at our Wilson Primary campus.

As a growing College, we are seeking to further develop highly collaborative and interdependent teams across both primary schools. Our Education Assistants are fundamental to these teams and help to ensure that all students are provided with the support they need to unlock their learning and development. This support can range from one-to-one assistance in class, small group support and delivery of specific intervention programs.

About the Position

You will need to perform non-teaching duties to assist the teaching staff in the Early Childhood or Primary Schools, providing care and supervision for students including those with special needs who require learning support.

Our Special Needs Education Assistants support students with a range of additional needs, including students with Down Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, anxiety, language difficulties and learning disabilities. For the Special Needs role, preference will be given to candidates who have gained experience supporting students with additional learning needs.

Part-time and full-time positions are available. Candidates who are currently studying towards Cert III and IV in School Based Education Support are invited to apply.

Here are the essential criteria for the position:

• you must be actively involved in a local Protestant Christian church and be able to demonstrate an exemplary Christian lifestyle;
• you must hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check; and
• you must be willing to obtain a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, dated no more than 3 months old;
• a Certificate III or IV in Education Support or previous experience is desirable.
