About the role

Provide trauma-responsive nursing care to people over 16 experiencing domestic and family violence. Deliver clinical assessments, triage risk, coordinate referrals, and support recovery through individual and group-based care.

Key duties of the role

• Deliver person-centred clinical care and case management
• Triage, assess safety and risk for DFV consumers
• Monitor care plans and coordinate referrals across services
• Provide outreach care in community and DFV accommodation settings
• Support and guide junior staff, students, and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to research, audits, and evidence-based service improvement
• Lead portfolio work to strengthen service access and quality

Skills and Experience

• Current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
• Minimum 3 years post-registration nursing experience
• Demonstrated skill in DFV assessment, triage, and outreach care
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of healthcare legislation, standards, and quality systems
