We are looking for a full-time Civil Engineer to join our Brisbane team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Optimisation:

Lead and apply design optimisation techniques to civil engineering projects, focusing on improving the efficiency, durability, and cost-effectiveness of both structural and non-structural elements. This includes working on Selection Steel products (e.g., UniCote and UniZinc) to ensure superior performance in various environmental conditions.

• Cost & Resource Management:

Collaborate with the team to accurately estimate project costs and resources, identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimising resource usage during both design and construction phases.

• Quality & Compliance:

Ensure that all designs and project modifications comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards. Maintain accurate Quality Assurance (QA) documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

• Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to implement design changes and optimisation strategies, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Risk & Documentation:

Conduct project risk assessments to identify constructability issues and maintain up-to-date documentation, including design modifications, reports, and quality control records.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in Civil Engineering with a focus on design optimisation.
• Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering design principles, construction techniques, and optimisation strategies.
• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
