Role Summary
As a Media Graduate at Monks, you will support the delivery of innovative and effective media services across our Managed Media, Advisory, and R&A workstreams. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in paid media delivery, financial operations, client support, and internal collaboration. You'll be mentored by senior team members while developing your understanding of our media products, platforms, and industry practices. A proactive mindset, curiosity, and a desire to grow are key to success in this role.
We have positions open in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.
Role Responsibilities
Strategic Awareness
- Begin developing a foundational understanding of the APAC Media business strategy and team functions.
Finance & Operations
- Accurately complete timesheets and support financial tasks such as mock billing and invoice troubleshooting with senior guidance.
- Contribute to forecasting and financial tracking within the team.
Product & Delivery
- Develop technical knowledge of Monks' media services and platform tools.
- With support, participate in the delivery of managed and advisory services.
- Ensure adherence to client contracts, deliverables, and SLAs.
Client Engagement
- Begin to support client relationship management activities with senior oversight.
- Assist with maintaining high-quality delivery and consistent communication.
Internal Culture & Development
- Actively participate as a mentee in the mentoring program.
- Provide and gather peer feedback to support team growth.
- Dedicate time to research and development, sharing learnings with peers and clients.
- Proactive mindset to learn internal processes
Learning & Support
- Engage in training opportunities to grow presentation skills, media platform knowledge, and execution capabilities.
- Collaborate on internal initiatives and support senior team members in day-to-day tasks.
Experience And Skills Required For Role
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A recent graduate with a background or interest in media, marketing, digital advertising, communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and apply media concepts in a practical environment.
- Exposure to or interest in digital media platforms and tools is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment.
- Willingness to receive guidance and gradually take on more responsibility.
