MC Driver

About the role

Roadline Civil Contractors' is seeking a skilled and experienced MC Driver to join our team in Broome, WA. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis. As an MC Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting our civil construction operations, transporting heavy equipment and materials to project sites across the region.

What you'll be doing

1. Safely operate and maintain MC class vehicles, including semi-trailers, prime movers and other heavy commercial vehicles
2. Transport a variety of equipment, materials and supplies to active construction sites
3. Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance on vehicles to ensure roadworthiness
4. Adhere to all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies
5. Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required
6. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
7. Collaborate with the wider team to support the efficient delivery of projects

What we're looking for

1. Valid MC class driver's license
2. White Card
3. Current Commercial Driver Medicals
4. Fatigue Management Certificate
5. Previous experience operating heavy commercial vehicles in a civil construction or transport environment
6. Strong knowledge of road rules, OH&S regulations and safe driving practices
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
9. Good communication and interpersonal skills
