Applications are invited for the position of Corporate Support Officer - Records, based at Council's Administration Centre. The successful applicant shall be responsible for carrying out the efficient operation of Council's Records section.

Essential:

Qualifications & Licensing

  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent

OR

School Certificate and satisfactory experience.

  • Class C Drivers Licence.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated high degree of confidentiality.
  • Highly developed organisational and written communication skills.
  • Sound demonstrated administrative skills and experience using Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and other general office computer applications.
  • Demonstrated ability, experience and commitment to excellence in customer service.

Desirable:

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Business (Records and Information Management)
  • Commencement, progression and/ or completion of a course of study acceptable to the Director Corporate and Community Services.

Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023. The classification for the position will be Operational Band 1, Level 2, Grade 2. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be in a range from $1,029.85 to $1,086.54 gross per week.
