About the role
Seeking a skilled and experienced Switchboard Tester to join the team at SCRR Electrical. This full-time role is based in Chevallum, Queensland, offering the opportunity to contribute to the company's critical electrical services and infrastructure projects.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting thorough inspections and testing of electrical switchboards, panels and other electrical systems
- Identifying and troubleshooting electrical faults and issues, commissioning and providing quality assurance
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all testing and inspection activities
- Ensuring work is carried out to the highest safety standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
- Collaborating with the wider team to support the delivery of quality electrical switchboards.
What we're looking for
- Formally qualified electrician with experience in switchboard testing and fault-finding
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, switchboard design and testing procedures
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex electrical issues
- Commitment to working safely and upholding high safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and the wider team
