Thiess Mongolia is seeking interest from suitably qualified and experienced surface mining personnel to support its growing operations in Mongolia.

About the role

Exciting opportunity to be part of our team on a new project to deliver surface mining services in a hard rock operation.

These are key roles with the prime objective of delivering surface mining operations, safely, on time & within budget.

These are expatriate positions with an international FIFO arrangement on a 5/3 roster and reporting to the Project Manager.

Typical Scope of Works including:

· Surface mining production

· Drill & blasting operations

·    Mobile Equipment Maintenance (200t excavator/150t truck class)

· Mine infrastructure and temporary services

· Project Coordination and Management;

· Industrial Relations Management;

· HSE Management;

· Planning and Reporting;

· Capacity Development and Training;

· Quality Assurance and Quality Control.

What you'll bring

· Extensive hard rock experience relevant to the role

· Demonstrated commitment to safety

· Excellent communication and people management skills
