The Arborist Operations role is designed for a fully qualified arborist seeking to advance into a leadership position within the team or an Arborist who is already in a leadership role. This role combines hands-on fieldwork with responsibilities in training and administration. The successful candidate will work closely with the current leadership team to oversee operations and ensure the effective management of all aspects of arborist projects.

Key Responsibilities

Fieldwork and Operations Support

  • Assist in daily on-site arborist activities, including tree work and equipment maintenance.
  • Support  and lead crew in adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Training in Leadership Responsibilities

  • Participate in mentorship programs to learn crew supervision and operational management.
  • Gain experience in overseeing job site safety and workflow coordination.

Administrative and Paperwork Training

  • Learn how to maintain accurate records of job details, safety documents, and client communications.
  • Assist with preparing and submitting quotes, timesheets, and incident reports under guidance.

Scheduling and Logistics

  • Assist in booking jobs, scheduling crew assignments, and coordinating resources.
  • Learn how to oversee maintenance schedules and manage equipment and supply logistics.

Necessary Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate 3 in arboriculture is required. Higher qualifications desired.
  • Eagerness to undertake training in administration and leadership is required.
  • Skid steer & Excavator license is desired.
  • Valid MR manaul licence, EWP licence, Level 2 First Aid & CPR, Construction Induction Card required.
  • Working with Children's Check, Criminal History Check & Driver History Record
