Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Conveyancer with comprehensive knowledge of New South Wales property law. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling residential and/or commercial conveyancing transactions from start to finish and demonstrate strong attention to detail and client management. Prior experience working in a remote environment or with offshore teams is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end conveyancing transactions across New South Wales, including preparation of contracts, review of documents, and settlement processes.
- Communicate directly with clients, real estate agents, and financial institutions to ensure smooth progress throughout the transaction.
- Prepare and lodge legal documents using platforms such as PEXA, and ensure compliance with NSW regulations.
- Advise clients on legal obligations related to property purchases, sales, and transfers.
- Maintain accurate records and manage deadlines to avoid delays in settlement.
- Identify and resolve potential legal issues or complications that may arise during the conveyancing process.
- Stay updated on legislative changes and regulatory requirements affecting NSW property transactions.
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate IV in Conveyancing or equivalent legal qualification.
Minimum of 3 years of recent experience working in conveyancing within New South Wales.
Strong understanding of the NSW Conveyancing Act, Land Titles Office processes, and electronic conveyancing via PEXA.
Demonstrated ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong client-focused approach.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience with common conveyancing and practice management software.
