We are a well-established Japanese restaurant known for our commitment to authentic cuisine, fresh ingredients, and exceptional service. We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our team and support our Head Chef in delivering high-quality Japanese dishes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Ensure consistent food quality and presentation
  • Supervise kitchen staff and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Help with inventory, ordering, and cost control
  • Contribute to menu planning and seasonal specials
  • Maintain hygiene and food safety standards

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a professional kitchen (experience with Asian cuisine required)
  • Knowledge of traditional Japanese cooking techniques (sushi, sashimi, tempura, etc.)
  • Leadership experience or natural leadership skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
