About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist to take ownership of the platform's technical configuration, architecture, and integration landscape. This role is perfect for a hands-on expert who can lead complex marketing automation initiatives while ensuring scalability, governance, and seamless system connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the technical configuration, setup, and governance of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Design and implement multi-channel customer journeys using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder.
  • Develop and maintain data integrations between SFMC and external systems (Salesforce CRM, data lakes, APIs, CDPs) using SSJS, REST/SOAP APIs, and ETL tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, data, and engineering teams to ensure compliance, scalability, and security of the platform.
  • Support DevOps practices including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management for SFMC assets and configurations.
  • Contribute to the platform roadmap, capability uplift, and documentation of technical standards and best practices.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Strong expertise in Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM integration and marketing automation best practices.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines in SFMC environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist / Developer / Consultant.
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale marketing environments.
  • Exposure to data privacy, compliance, and security frameworks in marketing technology.

Pay: $100,373.26 – $159,175.01 per year
