The Langham, Gold Coast offers guests a variety of venues each with their own unique 'flavour' and offerings, with one thing for certain – our cuisine will always be an experience to look forward to.  We are seeking an innovative and experienced Commis Chef to deliver a memorable culinary experiences for our guests and establish The Langham, Gold Coast.

Key Responsibilities

As a Culinary Professional you will craft food experiences across your designated Outlet, contributing to food production, ensuring the high quality of food and presentation across the Outlet, ensuring the organisation of service periods and maintaining high levels of service delivery, quality product and teamwork to ensure a seamless and exceptional dining experience.

About You

To be successful in the role you will have been in the same or similar position at a luxury hotel/high end restaurant and proven experience to meet a level of high performance across service, quality, presentation and production.

• Sound knowledge of the latest trends and Artisan experience in the industry
• Proved experience delivering bespoke menus and amenities.
• Passion for service excellence and providing superior hospitality experience
• Proven ability to work in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
• Creative, eye for Detail and a Flair for Presentation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Completed technical education in hospitality or culinary school
• Australian work rights
