Pharmacy Dispense Technician

About the role

As a Pharmacy Dispense Compounding Technician at Formulae Compounding Albion , you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for accurately and efficiently dispensing medications to our patients. This full-time role in our Albion, QLD 4010 location is crucial in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to our community.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, interpreting, and entering prescription information into our pharmacy system
• Accurately measuring, preparing, and packaging medications according to pharmacist instructions
• Maintaining a clean and organised pharmacy environment
• Providing excellent customer service to patients and answering any medication-related inquiries
• Assisting the pharmacist with various administrative and operational tasks as needed

What we're looking for

• Completion of a recognised Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent training, Dispensing experience preferered.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or hospital setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in using pharmacy software and computer systems
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medication types, and dosing
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively within a team
