 Full-Time | Based in Sydney
Join a high-performing, supportive team with a strong culture
Make a tangible impact in the energy transition
We are looking for a strategic and driven business development professional who thrives in fast-evolving markets. With a strong understanding of commercial leasing and partnership development, you know how to close deals and build trusted relationships that unlock long-term value.
This BDM role will lead the identification, acquisition, and commercial negotiation of EV charging sites across the country — focusing primarily on locations outside of a core retail network.
You'll work cross-functionally to evaluate high-potential sites, secure commercial agreements or leases, and support the deployment of AC and DC EV charging infrastructure aligned with national strategies. This is a critical role in expanding a growing national EV network through smart, strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development, site sourcing, and commercial negotiations for EV charging infrastructure.
 - Identify and secure strategic site partnerships with property developers, retailers, government stakeholders, and landlords.
 - Conduct data-driven site evaluations, using CRM tools to manage pipeline, reporting, and lead generation.
 - Stay across market trends and competitive insights to refine business development strategies and partner engagement.
 - Work closely with internal stakeholders (legal, technical, deployment teams) to support tenders, agreements, and successful project delivery.

What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, commercial agreements, and stakeholder management — ideally within EV, property, fleet, or energy-related sectors.
 - Familiarity with EV charging solutions, technologies, or infrastructure is highly desirable.
 - Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage complex negotiations and leasing agreements.
 - Skilled in using CRM tools and reporting systems to manage pipelines and support performance tracking.
 - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with a collaborative and adaptable mindset.
 - Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, or Finance are desirable.
