Reports to:

Head of Product - Seasonal/SDA AU & NZ

Key Relationships:

Role Overview:

As a key member of the product team, this role of Product & Sales Assistant – Retail has been designed to drive profitable growth in the retail division across both Australia & New Zealand.

Working closely with the product team, head of product, sales and marketing teams, you will be responsible for assisting with coordinating new and existing projects and liaising with the marketing and sales teams to ensure successful and on time product launches.

Essential skills:

· Team first attitude

· Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships

· Assisting with product development and sourcing of products

· Supporting sales managers with customer submissions and other administrative duties

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent attention to detail

· Good organisation skills

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

· Experience in Adobe InDesign & Photoshop (preferable but not necessary)

Experience required:

· Prefer product or project management background

Qualifications:

· Nil

Other requirements:

· Basic design skills (preferred not required)

Key Responsibilities:

· Data collection and distribution of weekly stock and sell through sales reports

· Supporting Product Team, Head of Product and sales managers with customer submissions and other administrative duties

· Maintaining EESS registrations and renewals

· Populating data in new SKU forms for Finance and Logistics and ensuring data maintenance is accurate & kept up-to-date

· Order follow up

· Organising and testing product samples

· Benchmarking

· Develop product training programs and materials

· Development and delivery of product brochures, packaging and manuals

· Ensure product compliance with Australian standards

· Proofing and development of product presentations, packaging and manuals

· Product database and website maintenance

· Analyze and interpret market trends and information within the heating, cooling and small / major domestic appliance industry

· Maintaining sample register

· Work with marketing team on execution and analysis of marketing campaigns and advertisements

· Creating price list templates and matching sales presentations to issue in conjunction with new pricing periods

· Developing and delivering on brand strategies in line with company objectives, budgets and targets
