About the Job

In this role you will balance your time between van deliveries and store work each day, both requiring great front-line customer service.  You will care for our customers in the field and those who come to our local store, along with working within a small team to keep the warehouse in order.

Your main duties:

  • Handle and deliver automotive batteries and associated products daily.
  • Assist with battery sales and cleaning at the NQB Retail shop.
  • Assist in warehouse order receipt and dispatch activities.
  • Assist in warehouse stock maintenance and charging procedures.
  • Ensure an awareness of responsible risk management and as per the company procedures.

  1. Motor Vehicle Licence, QLD Manual drivers' licence
  2. Reliability - you can follow a call plan; our customers tell us their #1 priority for you is that they can set their clocks by your call plan;
  3. Customer Focused - you are observant, a good listener and pleasant to work with.

If you have experience in delivery and store work of Automotive products, food or building products etc, this job is ideal.

As a person, you have the following talents, you:

  • Are reliable and helpful;
  • QLD drivers' licence
  • Take personal ownership of your duties and performance;
  • Work in a team but are also able to work alone and unsupervised;
  • Follow policies and legislation involving conduct, safety and dangerous goods.
