ABOUT CALIBRE PROJECT MANAGEMENT

ROLE OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate will have experience within a client-side Project Management organisation or from a Construction background and will lead the end-to-end delivery of construction projects on behalf of the client, managing consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes across scope, cost, time, quality, and risk.

You will act as the client's representative throughout the lifecycle from feasibility and planning through procurement, construction, and handover. The role will also involve supporting the Director with business development initiatives and client relationship management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • End-to-end project management: feasibility, design, approvals, procurement, construction, and handover and defects
  • Ensure all works are completed in accordance with project timeframes, budget, and quality outcomes
  • Accurate reporting of project financials within approved funding
  • Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders
  • Assess risks and establish contingency plans
  • Ensure WHSE policies and procedures are met and maintained

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • 5–10+ years' experience in client-side project management or consultancy
  • Proven track record delivering construction projects ($1m–$50m+)
  • Strong understanding of design, procurement, construction, and handover phases
  • Experience with government or institutional clients (desirable)
  • Experience in relationship management with external clients
  • Experience with Procore will be highly regarded
