Why Work at Lotus Therapy?

We're not just a workplace—we're a team that believes in celebrating individuality, embracing neurodiversity, and creating a truly supportive space for children, families, and each other.

At Lotus Therapy, we offer multidisciplinary allied health services from our two vibrant, well-resourced clinics in beautiful Gympie, just a short drive north of the Sunshine Coast and Noosa. Our passionate team is made up of OTs, Speechies, Counsellors, Dietitians, Physios, Play Therapists, and Naturopaths—all collaborating to support young people in meaningful and holistic ways.

We're on the lookout for a Speech Pathologist who is values-aligned, playful, kind, and ready to make a real impact.

Whether you're a seasoned professional or a new graduate—we'd love to hear from you

  • Generous PD Support: Up to $10,000 CPD funding + 1 week of paid leave to focus on your growth.
  • Admin Support: Spend more time doing what you love, with admin and therapy assistant help.

  • Truly Multidisciplinary: Work closely with other allied health professionals in a supportive, collaborative culture.
  • Team Culture: We love what we do and celebrate it—think team lunches, connection days, birthdays, and more.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting children and teens with a range of communication, social, and developmental needs—particularly those who are neurodivergent.
  • Delivering therapy that's fun, affirming, strengths-based, and family-centred.
  • Building trusting relationships with families and helping kids thrive at home, school, and in the community.
  • Collaborating with our team and external partners to provide integrated and meaningful care.
  • Creating thoughtful therapy plans and documentation—supported by an admin team who gets it.

You'll Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Are a qualified Speech Pathologist (SPA registered).
  • Have (or can get) your PI Insurance, Driver's Licence, and NDIS checks.
  • Communicate with warmth, clarity and heart.
  • Want to work somewhere that values people over productivity—always.
  • Are playful, open-minded, and passionate about making a difference.
  • Believe that therapy should be affirming, fun, inclusive, and trauma-aware.

Hear From Our Team:

"I feel like I've struck gold working at Lotus. The team is kind, supportive, and genuinely cares. As a new grad, I've felt encouraged and never alone. There's a big focus on connection—with clients and with each other. It's just a really beautiful place to work."
