Laundry Services Attendant

About Us

WashLounge Laundromat is a luxury provider of commercial laundry services and is committed to delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Laundry Operations:
• Receive, sort, fold, and load laundry according to internal procedures.
• Prepare laundry for delivery to key accounts.
• Ensure all laundry equipment is maintained in good working order and report maintenance issues to management.
• Organise and maintain laundry operations to meet demand in a timely manner.
• Cleaning Duties:
• Perform cleaning tasks throughout the Head Office, Training Facility, and Laundromat as required.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods.
• Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials.
• Must be reliable, physically fit, and able to lift loads of 20kg and push trolleys weighing approximately 100kgs (on wheels).
• General Duties:
• Respond to internal customer queries in a professional manner.
• Contribute ideas and inspiration to management and directors.
• Demonstrate foresight and plan ahead with time management.
• Stay up-to-date with techniques, trends, and best practices.
• Attend all training and meetings as required.
• Adhere to hygiene guidelines, WH&S policies, and company code of conduct.
• Ensure stock and supply shortages are reported immediately.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility in schedule.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
