An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate Latin teacher to join the Wenona academic team and inspire our young women through dynamic classroom practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance.

The Position

  • Teach Latin classes, particularly for Stages 4 – 6, delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Design and implement differentiated, inquiry-based learning experiences that reflect contemporary pedagogy.
  • Plan authentic assessments that inform teaching and support student progress.
  • Foster student wellbeing by supporting social and emotional needs alongside academic growth.
  • Contribute to the Languages team through collaboration, professional learning, and engagement in the wider educational community.
  • Integrate ICT to enrich student learning and enhance classroom engagement.

This is a permanent part-time role, with exact load to be confirmed, commencing Term

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about the Latin Language with experience in teaching across Years 7-12. You will be creative, flexible and have excellent communication skills with an ability to engage and communicate with various stakeholders. You will be capable of working collaboratively within a team environment and be committed to supporting the values of Wenona as you undertake your role.
