Carers Collective is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Quality Advisor to support our ongoing commitment to excellence in the disability and community services sector. What You'll Be Doing:
Internal Audits:
Conduct audits using a risk-based approach.
Develop and refine audit tools to ensure compliance with organisational, legislative, and regulatory standards.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:
Identify practice gaps using quality frameworks and drive improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Foster a culture of best practices and high standards in service delivery.
Risk Management & Monitoring:
Lead quality improvement activities, onsite leader inductions, and practice forums.
Analyse feedback and risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies where necessary.
Support Planning & Documentation:
Develop and review comprehensive support plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring compliance with NDIS and organisational standards.
Write and update evacuation plans, risk assessments, and incident analyses to enhance participant safety.
Provide practical recommendations for service improvements based on incident trends and risk analysis.
Data & Reporting:
Review trends in quality and risk, providing actionable insights.
Prepare detailed reports that contribute to achieving performance outcomes.
Report to governing bodies to assure compliance.
About You:
Qualified Professional: Tertiary qualifications in a related field, such as allied health, social work, nursing, or business.
Risk & Quality Expertise: Demonstrated experience in risk and quality management within human services, NDIS, community services, or mental health sectors.
Audit Skills: Experience in auditing processes for compliance with standards, legislation, and accreditation.
Analytical Thinker: Ability to interpret data and deliver meaningful, data-driven recommendations.
Team Player: Flexible and collaborative, with the ability to work autonomously or within a team.
Positive Outlook: Commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities in alignment with Carers Collective's values.

What You'll Need to Join:
Bachelor Degree in Business, or Healthcare related
Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Current QLD Driver's Licence.
Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (accessible here).
