About the Opportunity

We are looking for a talented Appian Developer to join our dynamic team in Wollongong and contribute to our cutting-edge projects.

As an Appian Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Appian-based applications that support our sustainability and asset management initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable solutions.

Tasks

The successful candidate will:

  • Design and develop Appian applications to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements.
  • Implement best practices for Appian development and ensure high-quality code.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Appian applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay updated with the latest Appian features and industry trends.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as an Appian Developer, experience developing in other programming languages is also desirable (e.g. SQL, HTML/CSS/JS, Python).
  • Strong knowledge of Appian BPM and related technologies.
  • Experience with process design, data modelling, and integration.
  • Experience with geospatial systems, primarily Esri stack.
  • Experience with Enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle and SalesForce.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
