Our Maintenance Department are seeking an experienced and qualified Maintenance Electrician for our Plant located in South Australia. Reporting to the Manager this role requires a trade qualified, self-motivated person who can demonstrate strong leadership and the ability to meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • The applicant will effectively, safely and speedily repair, maintain and install electrical machinery
  • Comply to the Company's safety policies and procedures as well as to Statutory and Legal requirements;
  • Primarily responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance to machinery and ensuring that all work they perform is carried out in a safe manner following to Baiada standards and systems.

Essential skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Electrical trade qualification

This position offers a fortnightly rotating roster that provides an excellent balance of work and rest, allowing you to enjoy time off while keeping your work routine dynamic and flexible

Roster Schedule

  • Week 1: 2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on
  • Week 2: 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off

Overtime will be required depending on workload and operational demands. You will have the opportunity to earn additional income by working outside regular hours.

Important: Due to bio-security reasons candidates are not permitted to have any form of pigs, poultry and/or birds at your place of residence.

To be eligible for this role, you must have legal right to work full-time (without restrictions) in Australia at the time of application. As part of the recruitment process  and on-going employment, you may be required to undergo background checks to assess your suitability for the position.
