We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Parts Interpreter to join our team. This role is crucial in ordering and identifying parts for our workshop, as well as providing mechanical services when required.
Duties include:
As a Mechanical Parts Interpreter, your role will include but is not limited to:
Identifying, receipting, and tracking parts using the MEX software system.
Maintaining an organised, clean, and tidy store.
Ordering parts for our field and workshop mechanics.
Tracking and restocking our spare parts stores.
Maintaining a good working relationship with company suppliers.
Completing tasks as directed by the Workshop Supervisor and Senior Management.
Complying with all company OH&S safety practices and procedures.
Remaining committed to company environmental policies and procedures.
Understanding and following the Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operating all machinery and equipment.
Performing general maintenance and repair duties safely as required.
Ensuring all training, qualifications, and certificates are current and up to date.
Assisting with general yard work when required.
Presenting a professional image at all times.
Desired Skills and qualifications:
Experience with MEX software system or similar.
Strong organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to safety and environmental policies.
Mechanical knowledge and experience preferred.
HC licence.
White Card.
