About the Role

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Educators and Lead Educators to join our centre in Cairns, QLD. You will play a vital role in creating engaging, high-quality learning environments and ensuring the best outcomes for the children in our care.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the planning and delivery of the centre's educational program in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families, ensuring open and supportive communication.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
  • Actively participate in the centre's continuous improvement strategies.
  • As a Lead Educator, guide and mentor your room team, supporting reflective practice and professional growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Educators: Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Lead Educators: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).
  • A passion for early learning and a commitment to supporting children's development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with families, children, and colleagues.
  • Good understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and child development practices.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
  • Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and relevant clearances.
