Part-Time Permanent role, working Monday to Thursday.
Are you a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building strong relationships and driving referral growth? We are seeking a Part-Time Permanent Account Manager (Monday–Thursday) to grow referrals, procedure volumes and market share across Castle Hill, Marsden Park, Armidale and Westmead.
This is a field-based sales role, well suited to someone who is motivated by results, comfortable working autonomously, and passionate about growing referral networks within healthcare.
About the Role
As an Account Manager, your core focus will be increasing referrals and procedure volumes from both existing and prospective referrers within the Castle Hill, Marsden Park, Armidale and Westmead region. You will manage your territory as a defined sales portfolio, applying a structured and proactive approach to identify opportunities and deliver measurable growth.
You will play a key role in strengthening I-MED's local presence, increasing share of wallet, and positioning I-MED as the preferred diagnostic imaging partner for referrers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive referral growth, sales revenue and procedure volumes across the territory
- Plan and execute targeted sales activities to increase referrer engagement and loyalty
- Identify, pursue and convert new referral opportunities within practices and clinics
- Grow share of wallet from existing referrers through consistent, value-led engagement
- Promote I-MED services to positively influence referral behaviour and decision-making
- Monitor sales activity, referral trends and account performance against agreed targets
- Work collaboratively with operational and clinical teams to support referrers and remove barriers to growth
- Represent I-MED at meetings and networking events to build pipeline and strengthen brand presence
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a sales, business development or account management role, ideally within healthcare or a related sector
- Proven ability to drive growth, influence referral behaviour and deliver results
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing a field-based sales territory
- Experience using CRM or sales reporting tools (Salesforce advantageous)
- Willingness to travel regularly across Castle Hill, Marsden Park, Armidale and Westmead and occasional travel to Sydney CBD for meetings/training
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
